Greg and Cargogh--tough competition at the GSDCA Nationals

Cargogh was inadvertently entered in Open Dogs at the GSDCA Nationals. Greg had Cargogh bathed, groomed and at ring side on Thursday for the American Bred Class before it was discovered that he was mistakenly entered in Open Dogs. Thankfully, Greg did not have an Open Dog and there were no conflicts to allow Greg to handle Cargogh on Friday in the Open Dog Class. However, Greg was very concerned about Cargogh (being only 19 months old) competing against those "older" more "mature" dogs in the Open Class. Nevertheless, Cargogh held his own, and we were thankful that Judge John DeHope recognized his quality and took him to First Open Dog, Winner's Dog and later to win Best of Winners. It is a pleasure to have had Cargogh at our home for training and conditioning in preparation for the Nationals and to have had the opportunity for the last year to handle him to 4 major wins (including the 5 points earned at the Nationals). I can't thank Cargogh's mom, Mary Tripp, enough for the confidence and trust she has placed in me at Cargogh's exclusive handler.

2x Sel Excellent Am/Can Ch Pilgrim Kellie Jolly T'Hill HT

ank you so much to Kellie's mom, Mary Tripp, for the trust you have placed in me in having me handle Kellie. She is absolutely a wonderful bitch! It is a pleasure to work with Kellie to train and condition Kellie to get her ready for the 2002 Nationals. I do not take for granted the trust that Mary has placed in me in allowing me to be a part of her dogs' show careers. Thanks, Mary.
