About Greg

Greg Eschette

Greg was born on September 8, 1967 in Raceland, Louisiana. Right out of high school when he moved from his parents' home, he purchased his first German Shepherd. In 1987 Greg married his high school sweetheart Linda. They have 2 daughters.

Greg first began showing his German Shepherds in the obedience ring. He finished several dogs' CD and CDX titles. Greg has also participated in Schutzhund training. In early the 1990s, a friend suggested that Greg look into Conformation Handling. This prompted Greg to begin studying the German Shepherd's conformation. In 1992, Greg quit his full-time employment in sales and quit going to school (were he was studying to be a court reporter) to take on German Shepherd Handling on a full-time basis.

At the German Shepherd Nationals in 1993, Greg handled 3x Sel Ch. Scharo's Spellbinder to his first Select rating. The team of Greg and "Magic" went on to earn two more select wins, as well as many Group Placements and a Best in Show at All Breed Shows.

Since that time, Greg has continued to handle professionally and full-time, traveling to shows approximately 40+ weekends a year.

For more information on Greg's handling fees, rates, etc. please send your request by e-mail or give Greg a call.
